Just a South Carolina boy who loved watching his mom cook and being in first in line at family dinners. Southern cooking (breakfast mainly) was my first love. I enjoyed cooking for our men's breakfast at my church and would always make the dishes for our family get togethers. Fast forward to college where I was introduced to fine dining, and thought "I can do this!" So I did. The rest is history. Like Chef M, my career path was not in the service industry but food has and will always be my passion. I enjoy the pleasure and excitement it brings to my friends and family.
Just a Midwest girl who fell in love with baking and cooking. I had the pleasure of growing up in a family where growing your own food and scratch made cooking and baking was the norm. I feel that good food can be made from simple ingredients and taste incredible. Though my career path has taken me a different direction, food has always been a source of comfort and creative outlet.
